Conference on the Family being offered April 7

A Conference on the Family is taking place in Medicine Hat on April 7 from 1-4:30 p.m. at Victory Lutheran Church, 2793 Southview Dr.

The focus is on supporting efforts in the community to fortify families, a fundamental unit of society, during challenging times.

The keynote speaker, Jonathon Van Maren, a well-known public speaker and author of The Culture Wars and Seeing is Believing, will conduct a workshop on Standing Up For Families. Van Maren has his own radio show on the Bridgehead and regularly appears in Lifestyle News.

Brent Taylor will conduct a marriage workshop — Hiz & Herz Greatest Need.

Other workshops at the event include: Drugs Proofing Your Kids and Fight The New Drug — Pornography.
