Medicine Hat News The public is invited to share in a health-care conversation with the local Palliser Triangle Health Advisory Council on March 14 at Medicine Hat Public Library, 7-9 p.m. It will be an opportunity to meet council members, share good news stories, make suggestions for change and present concerns, said chair Ken Sauer. He says the council is really interested in hearing of aspects in the health care system working well, as well as those where there is room for improvement. Anyone who would like to contribute will have about five minutes each to share their stories, suggestions, concerns and ideas. There will also be a 10-minute presentation about regional health services and a review of the role of Alberta Health Services’ health advisory councils. Those attending will be asked to register at the entrance to the library’s theatre with their telephone number and email address so a summary of the evening’s conversation, recorded by AHS, can be forwarded to them, said Sauer. He also said attendees are welcome to stay for the whole two hours, unless they need to get away, as PTHAC wants them to listen to other views. 9
