Minor road off 10th St. SE will close

A minor city road off 10th Street SE was approved by city council for closure at Monday night’s council meeting.

The public utility lot at the west end of 10th Street off Kingsway Avenue, has been used by the public as a road to access the back lane. The back lane is however, accessible from a different point, according to a city document.

The lot has historically never been designated as a road right-of-way.

The property will remain a public utility lot and the road network in the area is not compromised.
