Two arrested, $18,000 worth of meth and fentanyl seized in city

Two people have been arrested and $18,000 worth of methamphetamine is off the street after a short investigation by the Medicine Hat Police Service.

Members of the organized crime unit seized 150 grams of meth and smaller quantities of heroin and fentanyl from a home in northeast Medicine Hat on Feb. 5. Police also seized bear spray, a replica hand gun, several knives and cash proceeds of crime.

Daniel Kronebusch, 22, is charged with three counts of possession for the purpose of drug trafficking, and one count each of possession of the proceeds of crime and possession of weapons dangerous to the public.

Bethany Elizabeth Fitz-Simon, 22, is charged with one count of possession of methamphetamine.
