Seniors committee looking to elect five new members

The annual general meeting of the Seniors Citizens Advisory Committee will take place Feb. 21, 1:30 p.m. at Strathcona Centre.

Guest speaker Scott Woodside from the city will give an update on the construction progress of the seniors’ centre.

The AGM will include electing five new members for SCAC. Nomination forms are available on the city’s website and also at Strathcona Centre. The last day to submit nominations is Feb. 15 before 3 p.m.

An information session for anyone interested in becoming a member of SCAC will be held Feb. 6 at 2 p.m. at Strathcona Centre. This session will provide information about the objectives, goals and expectations of committee members.
