Medicine Hat News

RCMP in Drumheller say a Medicine Hat man has been arrested following the attempted break and enter of a home in that town.

Authorities say that on Jan. 11, a resident scared off three people who fled in a white Dodge Journey, then, police say, transferred to a black Dodge truck.

The first vehicle was discovered a short distance away and was found to have been reported stolen in Bassano.

Three people have been charged with break and enter and possession of stolen property, including Kayl Edward Libke, 38, of Medicine Hat, formerly of Brooks.

Two others involved are Jaime Nichole, 34, Ryan of Drumheller, and Ronald Joseph Furet, 30, of Strathmore.

Libke and Furet are also charged with breaching a court order.
