Already facing charges of voyeurism, man now hit with child porn offence

A Medicine Hat man arrested Nov. 11 and facing voyeurism charges made a court appearance Wednesday on new charges: A single count of possessing child pornography.

Crown consented to bail being granted for 24-year-old Davis Eichendorf, with similar conditions to those he already was on. The man also is not allowed the use of a computer, and only the use of a flip phone. This matter was adjourned to Jan. 17.

Eichendorf is set to be in court again on Dec. 20, over three counts of voyeurism and three counts of trespass by night. City police allege the man is linked to three similar incidents in March, May and August where a man was looking through bathroom windows at women.
