Lab appointments can be booked online, says Alberta Health Services

Medicine Hat News It is now possible to book a laboratory appointment online or by telephone, Alberta Health Services has announced. To book an appointment at Medicine Hat Regional Hospital collection site, 666 Fifth St. SW, or the Medicine Hat collection site, #1 – 44 Carry Dr., you can visit: ahs.ca/labsouth or call the central appointment booking line: 403-502-8269, or toll-free: 1-866-232-4732, Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Physicians and other care providers, including family members, can book appointments on behalf of a patient. When appointments are made the patient will be given a confirmation number, which they need to present when checking in at the lab. The lab is busier at certain times of the day, often in the morning, and not so busy in the afternoon. Saturdays are also generally not as busy.
