Medicine Hat News Medicine Hat police are investigating following a robbery Tuesday at a mens’ clothing store in the Strachan Road shopping plaza. Police report that at approximately 8:30 p.m., an unknown male entered Moores clothing at 1948 Strachan Rd., committed a robbery, and then left the store with an undisclosed amount of cash. A weapon was not involved or mentioned by the suspect, police say. The suspect is described as a Caucasian male, roughly 40 years old, approximately 6 feet tall, larger build, scruffy thicker style beard wearing a dark, ‘puffy’ winter coat. Police continue to investigate the robbery, and request that anyone with information about the incident to contact them at their non-emergency line at 403-529-8481 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477). Police also say that at this point, this robbery does not appear to be connected to any other robbery incidents around the city, including one on Nov. 9 where a lone male entered the ATB Financial Branch located in Northlands, brandished a weapon, demanded cash, then left the scene with an undisclosed amount of money. Police continue to investigate this incident as well. 7
