Local man charged with voyeurism

Medicine Hat News A Medicine Hat man has been charged with three counts of voyeurism following accusations of peeping into a bathroom window. City police report that on Aug. 31 at an address within 4000 13th Avenue SE a man was seen looking into a bathroom through a window at a woman. Police were unable to locate the suspect at that time, however a fingerprint of the suspect was located by the Forensic Identification Section. The fingerprint recovered was identified in October as belonging to a local resident. The male was arrested by police on Nov. 11. A subsequent investigation alleges that this man was not only responsible for this offence, but also two additional similar offences that occurred on March 16 and May 27 in this same area of the city. Davis Eichendorf, 24, of Medicine Hat is charged with three counts of voyeurism and three counts of trespass by night. He has appeared before a Justice of the Peace and was released on a cash bail recognizance with numerous conditions. His next court appearance is on Nov. 22. 10-9
