Charges laid in Southview break in and assault

A Medicine Hat man has been charged in connection to a home invasion and assault which happened in late October on Southview Drive.

The victim of the assault remains in hospital.

Darren George Brooks, 37, is charged with break and enter, aggravated assault, uttering threats, unauthorized possession of a firearm and unsafe storage of a firearm. He is scheduled to appear in court today, Nov. 14.
