Chamber of Commerce Biz Award winners

The Medicine Hat Chamber of Commerce held its annual Business Awards Friday evening at the Cypress Centre.

There were 74 nominations in 14 categories with one business taking home the Award of Excellence.

The winner of the biggest award was Short Grass Ranches Ltd.

The community involvement award was Canadian Fertilizer Limited.

The Customer Service Excellence award was Reliance Insurance Agencies.

The Employer of Persons with Disabilities was The POST.

The Employer of Youth award went to the Boarding House.

The Export award when to the Rustic Pickle.

The Franchise Business of the Year went to Anytime Fitness.

The Innovation Excellence award when to Atlantic Research Labs Inc.

The Large Business of the Year was South Country Co-op.

New Business of the Year went to Hell’s Basement Brewery.

The Small Business of the Year award was given to Neubauer Farms.

The Southeast Alberta Shines award went to Medicine Hat Destination Marketing Org. – Tourism Medicine Hat.
