Medicine Hat News Volunteers will be planting daffodil bulbs on Saturday, and if you are driving by they’d love it if you honked your horn in support. A total of 2,500 bulbs will be planted in a new test-site in the grassy area next to Humpty’s Restaurant and the Shell garage on Trans-Canada Way. This site has been chosen because it is relatively level, and when the daffodils are in bloom can be readily enjoyed by people in town or passing through on the highway. If the site does well in the spring it will be a major planting site next fall. The Daffodil Project is in its third planting season with a goal of planting a million daffodil bulbs along the highway from Redcliff through to Dunmore. https://medhatdaffodils.wordpress.com/ Email: hatdaffodils@gmail.com Tel: 403-528-8635 9
