Municipal Affairs minister in region today

Medicine Hat News Alberta Municipal Affairs Minister Shaye Anderson will visit Medicine Hat, Taber and Bow Island on Wednesday during a tour of the region. Anderson will meet in closed session with a variety of groups, according to an itinerary released by his staff on Tuesday. They include a combined meeting with the members of councils representing Medicine Hat, Redcliff and Cypress County in the afternoon. Other local groups include the South East Alberta Watershed Alliance, and the Medicine Hat Community Housing Society. Meetings in Taber and Bow Island will involve the Potato growers of Alberta and members of the cross-jurisdictional regional drainage committee. Anderson, the MLA for Leduc-Beaumont, became the municipal affairs minister in January, taking over from former minister Danielle Larivee, who became minister of children’s services. 8-7
