Blue-green algae advisory lifted for Reesor Lake

Recent weather has cooled lake and reservoir water temperatures to such an extent that blue-green algae is no longer a health concern atReesor Lake in Cypress Hills Provincial Park near Medicine Hat, says Alberta Health Services.

Effective immediately, AHS has lifted the blue-green algae (cyanobacteria) bloom advisories forReesor Lake.

As always, visitors and residents are reminded to never drink or cook with untreated water directly from any lake or reservoir, at any time.
