Caregiving course being offered

A five-week course for caregivers is being offered on Thursday afternoons from 1:30-3:30 p.m. starting Sept. 21 at Cypress View Foundation, 722 Bassett Crescent NW.

The cost is $10 for a Parkinson Association of Alberta member and $15 for a non-member.

The five-week series will be facilitated by Lorna Scott, who will share her personal experience, and cover aspects such as feelings of resentment and how to reach a place of joy along with the person you are caring for, plus being able to live life to the fullest. The first week will explore, “Where did my inner happy go?”, while discovering what means the most to you will be covered in week two. Creating a roadmap to inner happiness is the topic for week three, joy and passion in real life in week four and in week five – jump-start your inner happy and celebration.
