Nominees for the 2017 Medicine Hat and District Chamber of Commerce business awards have been announced.

Held in conjunction with National Small Business Week, which runs annually during the third week in October, the annual business awards provide an opportunity for Medicine Hat and southeast Alberta to recognize outstanding business achievements.

Nominations closed June 16, before which time businesses could self-nominate or be nominated by other businesses or individuals.

This year’s event theme is “Unmasking the Success of Business,” chosen to celebrate the success of business in the region through a masquerade festival atmosphere.
