Medicine Hat News One child is dead following a two vehicle collision Monday on Highway 36, north of Taber. A Volkswagen Jetta was travelling north on Hwy 36, while a Ford F-150 was travelling westbound on Range Road 110, failing to stop at a stop sign. The truck entered the highway and collided with the Jetta. RCMP from across the region, alongside Fire and Emergency Services and EMS responded to the collision at 9:25 p.m. The driver and a passenger of the truck were treated on thescene and released. Five occupants of the Jetta were transported tohospital in Taber.One of the passengers ofthe car, a 4-year-old girl from Taber, died as a result of her injuries. Taber RCMP are continuing to investigate with assistance from Lethbridge RCMP Traffic Services and charges are anticipated. Alcohol was not a factor in the collision and weather conditions at the time were light rain. 7
