The MHPS announced it is searching for a man after robbing a Mac's in the NE part of the city.

One man has been charged with break and enter, mischief, theft of a motor vehicle and breach of release conditions after a fleeing from police in a stolen vehicle Friday.
At approximately 3 p.m. MHPS responded to a suspicious male at the north end of the city, and when they arrived, the man was seen fleeing from the police.He ran through private property to a garage, where he stole a truck and drove it through garage door to flee.
After an in-car and on-foot chase, the police tracked the man down with the help of witnesses.
The police are thanking the witnesses for their assistance in catching the man, who is now in custody.
