The good news keeps coming for local oilpatch workers.
Calfrac Well Services is the latest oil and gas company to host a hiring fair, a sign that the recent pickup in oilpatch activity is continuing.
Calfrac is currently looking for an undetermined number of fracturing operators and supervisors and coiled tubing operators and supervisors. A valid class 1 driver’s license is required for both. The hiring fair will take place Feb. 24 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Medicine Hat Lodge.
In March 2016 Calfrac closed its Medicine Hat yard, putting about 100 employees out of work.
Canyon Technical Services held a hiring fair earlier this month and STEP Energy Services held one in January.
