By Medicine Hat News on November 22, 2016.

Fish and Wildlife officers are asking for help after a mule deer buck was shot and left alive in a farmer’s field northeast of Medicine Hat.

On Nov. 11 officers were called about the deer found near Range Road 20 and Highway 528 in Wildlife Management Unit 148. Upon finding the deer, officers determined they had no choice but to end the animal’s suffering.

Investigation revealed vehicle tracks that led to the deer and then back.
