Canalta Centre, Esplanade and Rotary Music Festival cancel shows

The COVID-19 virus is bringing the world to its knees, and Medicine Hat’s entertainment scene is no exception.

Upcoming shows at the Canalta Centre by Roseanne Barr (May 1) and the Baby Shark Live! Tour (June 23) were cancelled on Friday. This follows the postponement of the Brad Paisley concert that was to take place on March 13.

The Esplanade’s presentation of Canada’s Ballet Jorgen’s “Anne of Green Gables – The Ballet on March 13 was also cancelled. Refunds are available.

The Sunday Stars of the Festival concert that wraps up the annual Rotary Music Festival has been cancelled. Friday’s Rose Bowl performance went ahead but was limited to invited guests only.
