‘Baby Shark Live!’ swimming here

Shark attacks can happen on the beach, but in the Prairies? Yep.

“Baby Shark Live!,” the concert experience built of a viral sensation from a couple of years ago, will be at the Canalta Centre on June 23. Tickets go on sale today.

“We’re thrilled to bring Baby Shark Live! to so many new markets across North America,” says Stephen Shaw, the tour’s producer, in a release. “This is a cultural phenomenon and we are very pleased how families have responded to Baby Shark live on stage.”

The “Baby Shark” song has topped the Kids Digital Song Sales Chart, while the official dance video has more than 4 billion views, making it the fourth most viewed video in YouTube’s history.

Tickets will be available at ticketmaster.ca, or in person at the Canalta Centre box office.
