Boney M. at Canalta Centre on Friday

“Mary’s Boy Child” has become a definitive Christmas classic, while “Rasputin” remains one of the dance floor’s most requested pop songs. Boney M., with original lead singer Liz Mitchell, brings their holiday favourites and dance floor hits to the Canalta Centre this Friday at 7 p.m. with special guest Morgan James.

It has been said Boney M. was not only the disco cult band of the 1970s and 1980s, but remains a living legend of the entire disco era. Even if the name doesn’t ring a bell, the songs are sure to. Boney M. had a string of No. 1 hits in Europe, some of which crossed over to North America.
