The Manitoba-born McKillop has spent years establishing his chops as a songwriter and earned high praise for his guitar work. His shows and his music will give listeners a full appreciation of just how good music can be when those things come together.

McKillop’s sophomore album “Anchorless” was released in late March. He’s been criss-crossing and backtracking Western Canada since then. The Monday show in Medicine Hat starts at 1 p.m.
