Made in Canada show tonight

A foursome that comprises one of Canada’s most sought-after performers of classical music will play in Medicine Hat this evening.

Ensemble Made in Canada is at Fifth Avenue Memorial United Church tonight at 7:30 p.m.

A release sent by organizers says the group is presenting Mosaique, a newly commissioned suite of piano quartets by 14 Canadian composers, each inspired by a particular region of Canada.

Ensemble Made in Canada is Angela Park (piano), Elissa Lee (violin), Sharon Wei (viola) and Rachel Mercer (cello). Cellist Cameron Crozman will join the quartet for this performance.

Tickets are $10 for adults and $10 for students and are available at eventbrite.ca and at the door.
