Gone Country off to Swift Current

Medicine Hat News Known for playing shows in Medicine Hat and other southeastern Alberta communities, Gone Country is headed to Saskatchewan this weekend. The band will play at Good Tyme Dance Club in Swift Current on Saturday from 8-11 p.m. The band specializes in the classics — Waylon Jennings, Merle Haggard and the like — but can play for just about any style of dance you can imagine. There is a small admission fee for club members and non-members, but the lunch served after the dance is said to be worth the fee, and everyone is welcome. The club is located at 2150 Walker St.. 7-6
