Get ready for The Best Christmas Pageant Ever at the Esplanade on Tuesday.

That’s not hyperbole, that the name of the annual show being presented by St. Mary’s School next week.

The musical adaptation of the beloved Christmas story is about a small town in panic after the worst kids in town demand parts in the Christmas show. Rewrites, terror and near-revolt ensue as the show’s director tries to shepherd the community and the kids through the crisis, hoping the community has its own kind of Christmas miracle.

Show time is 7 p.m.
