There’s a super show at the Esplanade tonight.

Classic Albums Live presents the Supertramp album “Crime of the Century” tonight, note for note and cut for cut as Classic Albums Live does. Showtime is 8 p.m.

The third album from Supertramp, “Crime of the Century” contained “Dreamer” and “Bloody Well Right” among its eight tracks.

The group is different than a tribute act, founder Craig Martin has stressed in the past. They’ve previously performed Fleetwood Mac’s “Rumours” and the Eagles’ “Hotel California” at the Esplanade. At previous shows their performance has been split in half. The album of the evening is played in the first half, with other hits from the band comprising the second half.

Tonight’s show is the first of a three-show set by Classic Albums Live at the Esplanade. “Led Zeppelin IV” will be performed on Feb. 1, followed by AC/DC’s “Back in Black” on April 17.

Tickets for tonight’s show and a three-show bundle pack are available at tixx.ca, by calling 403-502-8777 or in person at the Esplanade box office or the Medicine Hat Mall customer service desk.
