Dance Me/Cohen show at Esplanade

Ballet Jazz Montreal presents Dance Me/Music of Leonard Cohen at the Esplanade next week.

The legendary Montreal singer-songwriter’s work will be presented via dance, taking the five seasons as the premise for the cycles of existence,” reads tixx.ca. Themes recurrent in Cohen’s work will be expressed by the dancers, themes including freedom to love, society and artificial utopias.

The show is on Sept. 25 at 7 p.m.

A bundle pack which includes another three Dance Series shows, is also available. Those shows include Shay Kuebler Radical System Arts – Telemetry on Nov. 6, Jeunesse Classique Ballet – The Nutcracker (Dec. 1-2) and Ballet Jorgen – Coppelia (Feb. 24).
