Western music show in October

Circle Oct. 6 on your calendars, western music fans.

That’s the date the Medicine Hat & District Live Music Club presents its annual western music concert.

Rose and Owl (Claire Lecocq and Jarred Albright) and Over the Moon (Suzanne Levesque and Craig Bignell) will be the stars of the show at Medicine Hat College’s Eresman Theatre.

Rose and Owl’s music draws from the duo’s shared love of old-time, bluegrass, western swing, Americana, folk and roots to create a sound all their own.

Over the Moon plays a two-part harmony style with songs that focus on life lived in southern Alberta. Both also handle a variety of acoustic instruments.

Doors will open at 6:15 p.m., with the show starting at 7 p.m.
