Memorial service for Robert Bardston Friday

Members of the Medicine Hat music community will come together Friday to remember one of their own.

A memorial service will be held for Robert Bardston at River Valley Community Church at 2:30 p.m. A luminary in the city’s music scene, Bardston passed away last month.

Bardston was a cellist and teacher of cello, voice and other instruments at Medicine Hat College.

Organizers ask that in lieu of flowers donations be made to the Canadian Association for HIV Research or to the Medicine Hat Symphonic Society where a scholarship endowment fund has been established in honour of Bardston.
