Louisiana Hayride music will bring back memories

The popular Louisiana Hayride Show is back in Medicine Hat this weekend.

Based on the iconic radio show of days gone by, the show, Saturday at 7:30 p.m. at the Medicine Hat College Eresman Theatre, will feature tributes to Roy Orbison, Patsy Cline, Elvis Presley and many more.

In a release, show co-creator Gil Risling says the music will bring back memories.

“This is music the audience remembers, either first hand, or in many cases, it’s music they remember their parents or grandparents playing. Music that’s no longer easily accessible.”

Music from Johnny Cash, Marty Robbins and Buck Owens will also be heard, and the performers will offer trivia tidbits about the lives and music of the artists.
