The five shows announced by the Esplanade on Monday are based in music, but a wide array of styles and performances separates them.

Most would likely rank the Andre-Philippe Gagnon performance on May 25 as the most interesting in terms of the performance. Gagnon is known as The Man of 1,000 Voices and the top singing impressionist in the world today. Mick Jagger, Pharrell Williams and Fred Flintsonte are in his spot-on and rapid-fire repertoire.

Gagnon’s new show is “The History of Rock and Roll,” taking the audience on a journey from the 1950s to today through music. Comedy and multimedia also play a big part in the show, making it perfect for any music or comedy fans.

A few days before Gagnon’s show, May 22 to be exact, Tre Twitty will take the stage. The grandson of legendary country star Conway Twitty, Tre will perform in a tribute show to Conway.

Lastly, Classic Albums Live will return with another three-show series. The group will perform Supertramp’s “Crime of the Century” on Nov. 29, followed by “Led Zeppelin IV” on Feb. 1, 2019, and AC/DC’s “Back in Black” on April 17.

Tickets for the Tre Twitty show are available now at http://www.tixx.ca, by calling 403-502-8777 or in person at the Esplanade box office or the Medicine Hat Mall customer service desk. Tickets for Gagnon and the Classic Albums Live shows go on sale Thursday.
