Celtic stars to perform at Esplanade

The Barra MacNeils Christmas tour comes to Medicine Hat this weekend at the Esplanade.

Titled An East Coast Christmas, the five musical siblings are often regarded as some of the best live Celtic performers anywhere in the world.

The Nov. 26 show is “full of seasonal favourites, original tunes, songs, stories and dance — all with their unique Celtic spin,” according to the band’s website.

The band is currently working on an album due out in the spring. A special three-track sampler will be available at the live shows on the tour.

The Medicine Hat show begins at 7:30 p.m.
