Ex-Hatter in city for book launch, signing

A former Medicine Hat resident will be back in the city this weekend for a book launch and signing for her latest work.

The sixth book in Darlene Foster’s Amanda Travels series, “Amanda in New Mexico — Ghosts in the Wind,” — will soon be available in most bookstores. To mark the occasion Foster will be at Coles Bookstore in Medicine Hat Mall from noon to 4 p.m. on Aug. 26.

The Amanda Travels series focuses on 12-year-old Amanda Ross who loves travelling to unique places and ends up embroiled in mystery after mystery.
