Two performances of ‘Dream Catchers’ in region this week

An inspirational musical is making its way around Alberta this week, making a pair of stops in the southeast corner of the province.

“The Dream Chatchers” musical will “will take you on a quest to find hope for the future and dares you to believe that no dream is too small,” reads a news release for the show.

The musical takes hip hop, spoken word, and folk and blends it with contemporary and Indigenous dance to create a spectacle “that explores the dreams of young Canadians through a lens of reconciliation, inclusion and the environment.”

The free show will be performed in Bow Island’s Centennial Park at 6:30 p.m. on Aug. 10, the at the Amphitheatre in Writing-on-Stone Provincial Park at 2 p.m.on Aug. 11.

“The Dream Catchers” is a Canada150 Signature project.
