Premier Smith and Adriana LaGrange need to go. Albertans are getting screwed with multiple epic fails regarding health care. It’s painfully clear they don’t know what they’re doing. After last position held by LaGrange and scandalous dealings they both should have been shown the door.

AI needs to be banned, Artificial Intelligence wasn’t thoroughly tested for real life. Tragic devastating outcome in B.C., end of story! They should be held responsible and Bill C-27 needs to be retracted, renounced, illegal.

I find it amusing the person posting in TOTP to criticize those posting in TOTP instead of writing a letter to the editor. “Of course, that would require one to slither from the level of comfort and bravery associated with anonymity.” Why didn’t you take your own advice and write a letter to the editor and sign your name instead of posting in anonymity?

Observing scandals in other police forces I wanted to believe Medicine Hat would be different, but no, scandals here too with very prominent individuals. Embarrassing.

Wouldn’t the cost effective solution to speeders be a police officer with a marked car handing out tickets? The offenders pay and get immediately slowed down, while other drivers see and realize the rules are being enforced.

To know if the person who believes floor crossing is not fair to voters remembers that Smith crossed the floor to gain a position of power in the Prentice government?

Danielle Smith put Medicine Hat on the map? What are you smoking? We, the citizens of Medicine Hat, put our little city on the map. Not some U.S. wannabe radio show host who used Brooks and Medicine Hat to gain power by saying she would be there for us. She won. She left. She’s ignored us ever since.

And bored with people who keep blaming a past NDP government for actions of the current UCP. The UCP is about to give you a future tax bill of $10 billion to pay off a deficit budget. Who do you blame for that?

If our current airline had managed the company better. In 2023/24 we had three flights a day, but due to the multiple cancellations and delays (no fault of ours) they changed in 2025 to one a day – Dep 3:45 (most connections in Calgary missed, coming and going). Now they say “despite efforts to support viability, demand for the services has been insufficient.” Make that ‘no efforts’ on their part.

At the people focused on using immigrants as scapegoats for financial strain on the province. We know the UCP has created financial burdens to taxpayers by having to pay out many, many millions in the ongoing coal company lawsuits, war room, health reorganization, etc., etc.

So WestJet will cease flights out of Medicine Hat in June. We already lost our only TV station. And yet, not a word from our elected MLAs, Smith and Wright. Perhaps they can save a few taxpayer dollars and close their offices here in Medicine Hat. They are not doing anything for this city.

Premier Smith please take notice, the Toronto General was named second best hospital in the world and the article pointed out, ” It doesn’t matter if I’m one of the wealthiest people in that society or one of least advantaged people in the society, I will get the same care.” They didn’t privatize to make it work. Please fix our health-care system rather than destroying it by privatizing. It can obviously work as a public system.

Staunch conservative voters who are dissatisfied with the UCP government, should be. The UCP was hijacked by separatists. All the rhetoric from this government is about sovereignty, Alberta police, Alberta pension, rejecting federal programs, etc. They didn’t campaign on this strategy and we can’t get rid of them. There is no alternative. God help us.

Big raise for doctors, please no more complaining. Nurse and other workers, big raise. Is there anything left for roads, etc.? I don’t want to read anymore left-wing ticked off notes about our current government. I think they are doing best they can. Thanks.

WestJet ceasing flights in and out of Medicine Hat. I guess that is the Medicine Hat advantage. I am sure the list of businesses grow then – not. The younger demographic flies, the older one, not so much.

If Smith wants a referendum then make it on privatizing health care and the Alberta police service, and don’t continue down these paths without the approval and support of Albertans. These were not mandates given in the last election. Ideally, call an election before you destroy what has taken so long to build in Alberta.

If MP Motz promises to donate his $ 8,081 raise he gets on April 1 to charities. It’s a mandatory hike to MP’s minimum annual salary of $209,000. No April Fools, either.

Haven’t flown out of YXH in the past several years as it was far too unreliable. Frustrating after a long business trip to be stuck in Calgary because they didn’t feel like flying that night.

I’m not a Rebel News supporter. I’m still gathering information regarding the case for/or against separation. I will pay $20 and attend the event at the college solely to show those who want to shut down the event that they are not the gatekeepers of information and they tend to display a superiority attitude that we all condemned in past history.

A once reliable transportation service like Greyhound gone; now too will be air flights out of Medicine Hat and Lethbridge? Companies all want a healthy bottom line but very disappointing this always comes at the expense of customers who utilize and rely on such services.
