With the idiots who drive in the city with the high beams on. The lights on the newer cars are bad enough on low beam. The only place for high beams is on the highway.

That former city manager Ann Mitchell quickly landed an administrative position with the County of Lac Ste. Anne. It was a thrill to have her manage the City of Medicine Hat, despite the subsequent acrimonious lawsuits. Fare thee well.

Would be if people would leave their light strings up a little longer to cheer up dull winter days. Just take down the decorating figures, etc.

By not getting vaccinated people think they are making a statement, yet when they get so sick and need hospitalization they’ll accept any medications to help them get better, plus burden the already stretched health-care system. How does this make any sense?

I am relieved the new city council has decided to not proceed with the southside recreation facility, at this time. I live in South Ridge and it would’ve been handy, but I could not see the justification for such an expenditure at a time when the city needs to find a way to quit eating into financial reserves. This is a great start by our new council.

As far as who sets gas prices an independent gas station can buy gas at the best price they can find and sell it at whatever price they want but nowadays most stations are owned by the major oil companies like Shell, Esso, etc., and at those stations the prices are set by the oil companies. Obviously Costco and like operations set their own prices.

Residents complain on taxes rising. Taxes will rise if this south-side rec facility is built. Just drive to the nearest location maximum 15 minutes across town. Or stop by on your way to the arena/box store.

Americans are hurting with drastic cuts in trips across the boarder as their president ignores his own country’s rules of law, attacks his own citizens, uses unauthorized military actions on another country while issuing more threats to take over several more countries and justifies turning Canada into his 51 State as we grapple with all his damaging tariffs. Not hard to see why we avoid our toxic neighbour.

Glad to see the south-side rec facility has been paused. The design (and cost) is over the top. What is wrong with a decent sized outdoor pool within a green space with trees? And why do we need more rec facilities in the same area as the Big Marble Go Centre?

If UCP ever gets authority to hire provincial police force. As we see how it is a disaster in U.S. under a tyrant leader.

People are taking their health seriously, and agree more time should be spent on nutrition in schools… so more people know what gelatin is made from.

Phoned city parks department about park path in Taylor Turner area being missed during last snow fall. The next day it was taken care of. All walkers and users of park thank you!

Council is putting a hold on a south-side rec facility since the other facility is under utilized. I do go to the gym but one that offers a more balanced programming and 24-hour access on top.

That the same people forever are flipping U-turns in front of our house. All you have to do is go to the corner, but for some reason you need to shine your bright lights and gawk in our house.

It appears once again the city is going to cancel any development of any type of recreation facility on the south side while apparently going ahead with the Brier Run on the north side, which already has a completely disproportionate share of recreation facilities, while south of the highway has none.

The city is raising our property tax by 5.6% this year. Our CPP is only going up by 2%.That’s not fair.
