Tickled Pink

I am thrilled I can go downtown to some fantastic stores and purchase fabulous jeans, sweaters, shirts and more.

Ticked Off

That people don’t know that the ATA stands for Alberta Teachers Association. Doctors and lawyers also have professional associations. The ATA is not a union.

Ticked Off

If you’re frustrated at teachers for striking because now you need to find childcare or teach your kids yourself – that just goes to show how much you rely on teachers, and how important they are for our society.

Ticked Off

With people who keep obsessing over some hockey player who chose to stop playing in Medicine Hat. It’s like drunk texting your ex after they left you for someone else. Pathetic.

Ticked Off

At the thought that Medicine Hat could end up having several known separatists sitting on our city council. This is exactly what TBA wants to see happen.

Ticked Off

I would like to know were all the money is suppose to come from for ASIH, teachers wages etc. if we cannot build pipelines and other resource projects due to liberal polices and yes Alberta should be fighting Ottawa on all there damaging laws.

Ticked Off

Rather than improve classes, or paying teachers (then locking them out) UCP willing to spend $150/wk child care, sent funds on questionable education packages and willing to hire 3,000 more teachers; that come from where? Vehemently claim there’s ‘no more money’ yet didn’t even blink at just spending $14M for early oil pipeline study. We the public are getting royally shafted.

Ticked Off

We have education and health care blowing up here in Alberta, and we are on the road in Quebec working on the not withstanding clause with regards to issues no one campaigned on. Call an early election and put all your real issues in front of voters.

Ticked Off

At yet another public service strike. Alberta teachers are very well paid. They have been for years. It’s time for both sides get to work together, park the political correctness, then find a way to immediately reverse some of the ridiculous classroom integration policies that have made life more and more difficult for both teachers and students.

Ticked Off

The UCP has cut AISH by $200 a month for those people who are living hand to mouth; Alberta now has the lowest minimum wage in Canada; Smith wants to control our pension as well as cut the RCMP for an Alberta Police Force; Health care and education are on the chopping block. What else can the UCP government do for the people in this province?

Tickled Pink

I will take empathy and compassion over sympathy and pity thank you very much.

Tickled Pink

If folks would quit forcing their view by spouting random numbers or stories. You want others to understand your point, use facts from honest sources. Just cuz ya heard it, read it or say it, don’t mean it’s all wrong, but it sure don’t make it all right.

Tickled Pink

At the new DJ at the Tigers game, a new variety of music. Hopefully Cotton Eyed Joe will be played at a minimum for the next nine months.

Ticked Off

They changed the time for city council meetings to satisfy one councillor and eliminating the opportunity for most citizens to attend the council meetings as most work until 5 or 5:30. Just one more way to eliminate the public’s opportunity to be involved.

Ticked Off

Why is Smith using a U.S.-based online curriculum for Alberta students. Why not the curriculum from the Alberta ministry of education?

Tickled Pink

At the anti oil pipeline folks. You do realize, I hope, that over 6,000 products you use in everyday life are made from crude oil, including medications and medical devices.

Ticked Off

Keep up the good work for Alberta, Danielle Smith. Great work being done on the Highway 3 twinning. Also for the over 30 Urgent Care Centres in the works that will be opened at various centres in our province. Cypress County will be one of them. Teachers need to be supported, get back to the bargaining table, work out a good contract and get our kids back in school.
