Ticked Off It’s nice to see there are new apartments being built in Medicine Hat, but I’m very disappointed in the amount of rent being demanded for them. What happened to affordable housing? Tickled Pink When a clown moves into a palace he does not become a king, the palace becomes a circus, Sounds to me like what has happened in the White House. Ticked Off Alberta’s COVID-19 vaccination program appears to be doing everything it can to make this year’s immunization campaign a “failure” by making it less available, less accessible and less affordable. Tickled Pink When I come home and my beautiful wife always has a hug and kiss for me! No matter how bad the day, it’s the best! And she’s really cute, too! Tickled Pink To know if any candidates running for city council in the upcoming election are separatists, or if they will sign the “Forever Canada” petition. In my opinion, this is critical information for everyone to know before casting a vote. Ticked Off If Alberta was currently its own country and Canada asked us to join them, would we? What could Canada do to make our lives better? Tickled Pink At a time when the concept of greater good is being eroded by self-interest, Kym Porter reminds us that altruism is alive and well. Thank you for your good work, Kym, you make a difference. Ticked Off The city remote worker policy needs to be eliminated. Let’s keep those tax dollars in our community and keep local people employed. Ticked Off State-run, liberal propagandists, also known as the CBC, wants people to know that they shouldn’t own dogs or adopt dogs. Apparently owning dogs contributes to climate change. The story is still on their website. Legacy media can’t die off soon enough. (Editor’s note: That story is actually an Associated Press story citing a U.S. study that simply mentioned owning a dog as one thing people aren’t aware of that can contribute to emissions because of the amount of meat dogs consume. It then lists a few tips on how one could own a dog and reduce the carbon footprint, should they so desire. At literally no point does it tell people not to buy or adopt a dog, and it was written by corporate-owned U.S. media, not ‘state-run liberal’ anything. But more importantly, are you just going onto CBC’s website for rage-bait headlines to stories you definitely won’t read? Asking for legacy media.) Tickled Pink With the creativity of “Grains to Glory!” From that name, to the venue, to event, all fresh vibrant ideas! Great fun. Super impressed. Way to think outside the box. More, more, more! Ticked Off With the number of kids I see riding small electric bikes. But I guess when you’re playing on one electronic device inside all day, why not swap it for an outside one? Tickled Pink Got a good chuckle out of Canada Environment Weather’s Heat Warning – “A period of warm to hot weather is anticipated” for Aug. 19. Pretty much a normal day for mid August then. Ticked Off Council should have voted to pay Clark’s legal fees, just like they paid for the CAO’s. Tickled Pink Had some corn from a corn kiosk for supper tonight. Soooo good! You have to have some. Great year for corn. Tickled Pink On one hand, I can’t wait until the municipal elections so this inept council can be shown the door, but on the other hand, I am really not overly enthused by any of the mayoral candidates. Tickled Pink If Chris Hellman would run for mayor. He could do much more for us there than as a council member. Ticked Off That the mayor thinks that the next council should take the respectful employee workshop that she and this council were supposed to attend. It should have been completed long before now. Tickled Pink To hear about the possibility of an outdoor south-side water park is absolutely amazing! Please do it! Ticked Off It was proved Mayor Clark was wrongfully treated. She should get all her expenses resulting from that returned. Council is repeating the wrongful actions they did in the first place. Ticked Off A return to cost-free COVID vaccines for some health care workers is good news! But more is needed to protect Albertans & our healthcare system from preventable disease. Or does the Alberta government want us to believe Kennedy: “There’s no vaccine that is, you know, safe and effective.”? 41
