Tickled Pink I would be Tickled Pink if the crosswalk and street lines were painted on the intersection at the bottom of Dunmore Road and Kipling Street. Ticked Off Ticked at Premier Smith – criticism is meant to help, not hinder when multiple opinions and facts are drawn from reviews of a critical happening. I heard the voices a number of times from Jasper locals that another level of bureaucracy was added slowing down some efforts. This was a legitimate criticism meant to review and prevent this reoccurring the next time and we all know there will unfortunately be a next time. It can and does get hot in that kitchen so if you continue to find it too hot maybe you should find, please, a new kitchen. Ticked Off What we need from our head of government, all the way down, is someone to make a decision and stand by it. What we need from law makers is someone to enforce and then apply consequences to all non-compliers. The ripple down effect would solve most of the problems in society that we are currently dealing with. Ticked Off The newly-renovated lights at Division and 7th no longer trip for motorcycles. Which means they stay red until a car or truck comes by. Ticked Off Just tried the Division avenue bike path. That isn’t engineering that’s stupidity and not safe. Before, nice wide road you could cycle down side of road and stay on your side. Now it starts out on west side then at a busy intersection of misaligned 11th Street with a service station on corner they have you cross the very busy Division Ave diagonally in an intersection to follow the path on the east side. Installing crazy painted symbols on road and posts with lights. Sheesh. That isn’t safer. That is way more dangerous than before. Quit. Move to San Francisco or Vancouver. Stop it. Tickled Pink I enjoy the cycling/walking paths of the city. Today I had a cycling mishap caused by loose rocks on the path and lost my balance. Two wonderful people, walking their dogs, came to my rescue. Can’t thank you enough! Ticked Off Why does Parks keep mowing down the milkweed in the empty field? It is the only food for the rare monarch butterfly. I’ve asked them not to and it looks like a crime scene now, they didn’t even rake up the pieces just scattered them about. I know other neighbours have called, I was told even the Horticulture society wrote. But still they chop down the monarch butterflies’ food. Ticked Off Hot water on demand sounds good, but in reality, you waste gallons and gallons of water, waiting for that hot water to finally make it to your faucet. Tickled Pink All the greenhouses are open and able to get my veggies fresh again, they last so much longer than store bought. Ticked Off City Hall needs to publish who the public can call for severely injured wildlife. This is inhuman what condition some animals are left to end up dieing on peoples property if their lucky to make it thar far. You should be ashamed. Pay a vet for crying out loud City instead of overpaying duplicate positions. Sorely this is a reflection of your attitude! Let alone people pets that are killed on roadway with no regard from guilty driver. Tickled Pink Canada has so much to offer for travelling, no need to go to the United States for a vacation. Ticked Off Alberta “has the highest per capita measles spread rate in North America” and meanwhile Alberta is going to begin charging residents a fee to get the COVID-19 vaccine. Tickled Pink Northside gym is fantastic plus I don’t need to go online in hopes to get a spot for a class. I do not need to workout around specified times as 24/7 access. They also have challenges through out the year for those who want to participate. Ticked Off We are now paying $1.00 for each plum, peach or pear with sale prices. I think this is getting out of hand and many people cannot even eat a healthy diet. Tickled Pink That a new campground is being considered. To the naysayer that wants retail stores, do you think stores would do well in the proposed campground location? As for things to do, we have tons of great activities for campers to enjoy. Too many to list here. Ticked Off Ticked Off that MP’S who were obviously not affected by the actions of the convoy mob are weighing in on the proposed sentencing for the ringleaders. Protesting is one thing, holding a whole city and its citizens hostage is quite another. I am quite certain that the same MP’S didn’t have to put up with 300 trucks idling day and night and honking their horns. If they were, they would be singing a different tune. Tickled Pink At the Mayor’s reaction to the provincial audit as it shows her true colors and total lack of humility. I’m shocked she still thinks she did nothing wrong after both council and the courts found her guilty of wrongdoing. She is so obsessed with being right instead of doing the right thing. She is unfit for office. Ticked Off What is it with these home owners or renters who don’t look after their property front yard and back alley. Are you just too lazy or don’t care, well your neighbours who have to look at the mess do care. Fit in or move on. Tickled Pink So grateful to Bill and Elizabeth Yuill for their generosity throughout the years. Our community has benefited a great deal from their support and donations to worthy causes. Tickled Pink That we have an abundance of Russian Olive trees in the city. They are beautiful and should be protected. Ticked Off At all the spam calls we are receiving. With all our technology you would think the police could get rid of those people behind them. No one wants to answer a call without a name added. 43
