If we were able to unite lonely seniors with children and teens who could benefit from a relationship with someone filled with knowledge and experiences. With more than 8 billion people in the world, how sad that it would be necessary to have robot friends in order to combat loneliness.

That you crazy people who want to take back Alberta expect the majority of us to change our minds. There isn’t a chance in this world that we will not keep Alberta within Canada.

I can’t wait for the next election. We need fresh minds in our city council. We need to catch up with the rest of the world and that will not happen with small-town ideology.

People who are habitual bylaw flouters don’t want to be told so, no matter how nice you are. I know this from personal experience. It is usually best to let the experts (bylaw officers) deal with it.

Why is Nicole Frey still involved in our city politics? She has lived 245 km away for almost a year already.

It feels like inspectors are on commission, they have increased fees and made it harder to place permits.

Well it looks like another four years of doing nothing and easy money for our local MP. No cabinet post of any kind. So we will be the forgotten corner of the world again.

If representatives for ecosystems had a say in development plans and AER hearings. Clean air, water and land depend on healthy ecosystems. All kinds of life, including humans, need healthy ecosystems.

That the city’s transportation plan includes active transportation (for personal and planetary health).

That the Trans-Canada Highway through the city is posted 80 km/h but a lot of people think it’s OK doing 120 km/h. There was a pile-up this morning because they need to speed just to get in front the semi or bus that’s doing the speed limit.

So impressed with the woodwork done by Robert Paradis from New York. I have not seen it in person but the beautiful replica he made of St. Patrick’s Church is certainly a work of art!

That less than 50% of Canadians (including Albertans) trust their government. Every new law costs you money, and steals a little of your freedom. Federal, provincial, or municipal.

Perhaps public safety should be considered. Sketchy landing of at least two “air balloons” and occupants. I certainly appreciate the hot air balloons, but not at my safety, or that of others. Yeesh.

Danielle Smith, how about some overpasses down here? The TCH through our city is dangerous to drive – traffic is always bunched up, too many lights and no traffic flow. Or have you forgotten about us down here?

When the price of crude oil was $70-plus per barrel, the pump price was around $1.25 a litre. Now the price of crude is around $61.45 per barrel and the pump price goes up to $1.27. What happened to the days when the consumer got a break at the gas pump when oil prices went down?

At my grandson’s McCoy graduation. I was so impressed with Mrs. Glasgo and Chaplain Groves’ speeches. I now feel even more positive of the right decision to have them going to a Christian school. I hope everyone listened closely as they spoke because it was such an uplifting message.

Someone posted they were tickled pink with Premium Labs and went on to say they are pleased with private care. Where is Premium Labs as I was unable to find it? I did find Precision Labs, but they are not private care.

With non-existent parking lines at Superstore parking lot. People park all over the place leaving less total parking.

How many times does Third Street downtown need to be worked on! I sure hope the city is giving the businesses impacted with road closures a break on licences and utilities. Those poor businesses have been through enough since COVID closures, road closures last year and now again this year.
