We have been vaccinating our children for measles for generations. As a result it was virtually eliminated. Some in the last few generations have not bothered to vaccinate their kids against childhood diseases, and as a result measles has returned in a landslide. Please have your children vaccinated, or we will have more diseases come back.

A referendum to see if Alberta wants to separate is irrelevant because the treaty with Indigenous Peoples was signed in 1899 before Alberta was a province. Fort McMurray and the oilsands are on Treaty 8 land. Alberta would end up the poorest country on Earth.

The G7 meeting will be held in Alberta next month. Will a convicted felon be allowed into Canada, or will he send a representative?

Instead of doctors wanting a meet-and-greet for new patients, patients should have access to their agendas for patient care. Back in the day it was much simpler, and referrals certainly didn’t have to wait nearly a year.

I hope young people realize the significance of our local paper having 140 years of existence. Decades before the first radio station or TV, and even before the first phone book. Imagine opening the newspaper to get the latest updates on the two biggest wars in history!

The Liberals have not hurt Alberta as much as Conservatives claim. When asked they say general things like, “They have treated us badly.” How would the Conservatives make things better? They don’t know and neither do I.

CPP, EI, universal health care and other social programs would never have been implemented by a conservative government, but almost everybody embraces and loves that they exist. The happiest countries in the world are the Scandinavian social democratic countries.

Danielle Smith needs to clearly and firmly get it through her separatist base that there will be no referendum to separate from Canada. Alberta cannot survive on its own, and there is a zero percent chance other provinces would join Alberta to separate – truly, think about it.

With Adriana LaGrange for the outbreak of measles. What’s that old saying – closing the barn door after the horse has bolted? A vaccination campaign was needed at least six weeks ago; ruining health care as she did to the education portfolio.

If the “five-minute researcher” would share what he found so repulsive about the new prime minister. In 30 minutes of research I could find nothing to be repulsed about.

When you say you are a proud Canadian, what are you proud of? Our last PM admitted we have no Canadian identity and that was the only thing he was right about. As the letter to the paper said about our border, we seem to be nobody but Americans who left their country because they couldn’t stand up for themselves so they ran away.

You have the numbers so call the referendum and get it over with. Instead we give the separatists six months to run about campaigning while our premier tells us she must be Canadian, she has red toes. Take Back Alberta should be so proud.

In light of a recent fire in a multi-unit building caused by someone smoking near an oxygen tank, I am extremely concerned about residents in my building smoking while on oxygen. How much longer will I be able to enjoy my view of the river from my terrace?

Love you Premier Smith. Anyone with a functioning brain knows the green grift of the Liberals will destroy industries and make jobs vanish in Alberta. Keep up the great work, Danielle!

That our health professionals have voted to tell our government what we have not been able to get through to them. The health-care system in Alberta has many issues to solve. It is unfortunate our government has chosen not to work harder to fix them.

Carney shuffled the garbage around in cabinet and expects it to smell better. It won’t. Also, get ready for the carbon credit system to go into turbo mode. That enriches Brookfield and that enriches Carney and his buddies, which is the only reason he ran for prime minister.
