Fabulous service from the Precision Labs mobile blood draw for our disabled son and I to send samples for the bio sample repository and natural history database for tuberous sclerosis complex researchers at the Van Andel lab in Michigan. The mobile lab workers in Medicine Hat are so kind, gentle and efficient! Thanks also to the Tuberous Sclerosis Complex Alliance and FedEx.

If council would take the energy vote to a plebiscite. Residents want their democratic right exercised not trying to force a costly municipally controlled corporation on us to benefit a few.

In six months we have our municipal election and will be able to vote in a new council and mayor. The current council will have a legacy of nothing accomplished for the city except for personality clashes and infighting.

Why isn’t the city painting lane lines on roads and crosswalks? This could be conceived as negligence by the City of Medicine Hat.

Some doctor’s fees for drivers medicals, prescriptions requiring special authorizations and other paperwork requiring your doctor’s approval are outrageous. Compare prices from $80-$150.

Every year my accountant requests I purchase an insurance policy from them in the event Revenue Canada questions my return. If I give them accurate information and they know what they’re doing, why expect me to pay a very substantial insurance fee in addition to their fee for services?

Making a formal complaint about a neighbour’s auto-wrecker/junk-yard front yard to city bylaw is a waste of time. Nothing gets done, no one shows up.

Yes, to your response about why God just didn’t wave his hand to wash away our sins. The Lord needed to make an example to show his extreme love for us by giving his only begotten son and then resurrecting him for all the world to see how much he was willing to do to save our souls. And all we need to is accept him as our saviour.

If Danielle Smith was doing a good job. Checklist of her performance is less than stellar, yet we are stuck footing the bill for her personal agenda and ideologies versus real needs in health care, education, social programs and national unity. I will happily give her credit when she gets off her high horse and earns it.

At how easy it is to sit on the sidelines and criticize. However, Danielle Smith is well into her elected term but continues to avoid her voters’ mandate/needs, pursues her own agenda at taxpayer expense, holds no accountability and still blasts views differing from hers. Sounds an awful lot like a bully mirroring our southern president.

Street sweepers came down my street at 10 p.m. when the street was filled with parked cars. No signs were put up saying not to park. Still piles of gravel all over.

How can the provincial government led by Danielle Smith even consider reducing AISH payments by $200 when the federal government wants to provide critical assistance to those who require additional financial support when everything is becoming more expensive? Albertans cannot accept this level of sickness and cruelty by the UCP.

Why are rentals priced so high in Medicine Hat? Way nicer, stylish and less expensive in Calgary. I need to stay here. There should be a cap on what they can charge.

Canada’s reciprocal tariffs won’t hurt anyone accept Canadians. Trump claims the U.S. doesn’t need Canada’s products, but they do need our oil. We should sell it at a premium. Maybe that would help them come to their senses.

Referrals for Home Care need boundaries, as too many receive this valuable service who are capable, or have family that can assist. Hence, leaving those alone who really do require assistance with no care.

I made an appointment for blood work and it was still an hour-and-a-half wait. Time to get rid of the UCP.
