I think Kingsway should be closed off permanently and turned into a pedestrian mall. We did that in Halifax several years ago and everyone loved it. Businesses thrived.

That all the trees and flowers are starting to grow and blossom. Yay, it’s spring again!

At dog owners. Off leash doesn’t mean your dog is allowed to run up and jump on people. If your dog cannot obey your command to sit or stay it should not be off leash. So sick of hearing, “Don’t worry, he’s friendly.”

That Trump is currently at war with the world. Countries should just stop trading with the U.S. Zero interest in visiting the country now. Zero interest in buying U.S. goods or products. Finding more and more wonder alternatives.

Medicine Hat has great potential for renewables; it could create jobs as gas fields deplete, but our government has not only created regulations to stop development, but are now refusing to increase transmission capacity to get our energy to market. This from a government that routinely criticizes failure to build pipelines. Are our MLAs working to help Hatters, or do they just take voters for granted?

Enjoyed a lovely Saturday afternoon bike ride along the river and saw a beaver swimming across!

Thanks to all the drivers giving us cyclists a wide berth when we can’t ride close to the curb due to the gravel.

Who knew MAGA meant the opposite? Trump is a liar. Of course, we knew this, he lies continuously. Voters for him got what they deserved, but it is too bad the rest of the world has to suffer as well.

Why do parents need so much convincing to immunize their children? It is one of the most scientifically proven ways to protect them. When I was a child, I waited for hours to be vaccinated for polio: people could see the dire facts the illness had and clambered for the shots. Full immunization used to be a rite of passage, why isn’t it still?

If LaVar Payne got Alberta to separate would he be our Robert E. Lee? Separation would not be without conflict. There would be a price to pay.

To not have a bucket list, nor the need for one. I am quite comfortable in my life. I don’t need a newer car or a bigger house or fancy clothes or anything else. It’s all good.

To suggest our premier stay in her lane and fix the damage she has caused Alberta before she demands the same from someone else. A good start would be to do something about health care “in 90 days.”
