I need a renovation, but I also need food. As a non-profit, if you need food why spend money on renovating a kitchen that is already state of the art>. The board of directors should be responsible for this. A lot of money wasted on this project.

At the fans and their chant about the Lethbridge Hurricanes goalie sucking at the game on Saturday. We were Hurricanes fans beside you. And the one dressed up, you looked ridiculous. Grow up.

My sincere thanks to the choir, director and regular pianist at Holy Family Church for their wonderful hospitality at a recent funeral. Although I came “from away” to accompany the soloists at the funeral, I was welcomed warmly by the regular musicians and was incorporated wholeheartedly into their music ministry. That city council is being diligent about funds to nonprofit groups and we citizens are able to communicate our thoughts and concerns. Is this really an urgent step to get expensive construction done when funds are needed for more necessary needs? Transparency is key to this process.

That some of our future political people have learned to speak real truth in everything they say. With so much disinformation, it is so important that truth be found in all communication. So much information can be misconstrued; it’s so important to make all communication plain, simple and truthful.

No-fault insurance is scape goat for insurance companies. They gouge us with premiums as it stands, but we still fault the negligent driver. With no-fault the onus is on us, no matter if we were in the right. What a bunch of garbage, you’ll drive people out of Alberta. No pun intended.

Let’s talk about a small change that just makes sense. The drink-through lids at Costco food court are the best design. No spills and no paper straws. They are doing it right!

To the person saying we should only buy local. I agree, however in this city there are almost no options for different quality products. Nationwide chains in the city rarely have what I’m looking for because they mostly cater to certain customers. Sometimes there is no other choice but to order online.

Once again, you refuse to print the truth about Carney never being elected and the fact that, while Smith did not hold a seat in the legislature at the time she was chosen party leader, she not only previously served in the legislature but did so as the Leader of the Opposition. Please stop printing “half” truths. (Editor’s note: This could not have less to do with how she came to be premier if you crocheted it into a pillow. The process is the exact same, because that’s literally how our political system works. Stop learning “half”the information before you get so angry. He’s running in an election in 31 days.)

With plans to move the casino to the Box Springs Business Park. Location will not be supported, just as the Co-op Place is not. I for one will not be driving across the city for a few hours of giving you my money. Sad to see such a bad decision being made.

With the casino moving to Box Springs (sometime in the future). I can just hear all the belly-aching about having to drive all the way to Box Springs to gamble. The TO/TP column will definitely provide some great laughable comments on this subject.

I truly hope Ms. Smith does extremely well in her far-right media interview in the U.S. If she is successful in getting a full-time job in their media, I would say my tax-dollar investment in her travel expenses are well worth it.
