The Mustard Seed does excellent work. Could not the city permit the staff to use the kitchen to prepare the meals, which would be served at another location? People are hungry and need meals.

That Canadian fans at the Four Nations hockey tournament were booing the U.S. team. It’s not the hockey players that are the problem, and politics should stay out of these kind of sports tournaments.

I was pleased that Prime Minister Trudeau and one of his sons sat in the bleachers at the Canada-U.S. hockey game on Saturday night.

I wonder how many Stanley Cups the Edmonton Oilers would have if Connor McDavid was as focused on hockey as he is filming commercials.

I am pleased that I am woke. It means treating people nicely no matter who they are. Black, homosexual, female or other orientations. What is wrong with that? It is right wing leaning people who are self righteous, not the left.

Donald Trump wants the Nobel Peace Prize by trying to get Russia/Ukraine to stop fighting. Yet he threatens countries with tariffs if they don’t upgrade their military by buying U.S. weapons and proposing kicking Palestinians out of Gaza so the U.S. can take it over.

As much as I respect Ron Edwards and the Stampede Board members, they just don’t seem to get it. Their financial request is way too much.

That people do not feel the MHES deserves to upgrade their grandstands. They are a great part of this city and taxpayers taxes should help them. Why is everybody so negative?

The local shelter is not an option for all homeless people. Many would rather take their chances on the street. Many are banned due to drug or alcohol use, inappropriate language or some other random rule. Those with pets, their only family, can’t access. Their meagre belongings are stolen and physical safety is often an issue. We can do better.

I can’t believe Canadians are willing to vote in the Liberals for another 4 years. I guess you can’t cure stupid.
