Ticked Off and Tickled Pink, Oct. 15, 2024

Tickled Pink

Very happy to see someone is finally cleaning up the deadwood along Highways 1 and 3. City and province need to co-operate (if that is even possible?) to make our roadways more pleasing to the eye. Our MLAs need to take note.

Ticked Off

Danielle Smith’s legislation to restrict puberty blockers will cause irreparable harm to transgender youths in Alberta. I guess “bodily autonomy” only matters to her when it comes to vaccines but not recommended gender affirming care practices.

Ticked Off

I can’t see any resolution in this city’s management problems until the city manager is replaced.

Ticked Off

It is hard to understand why there is so much turmoil in Alberta’s health-care system. Just pay people properly, support their efforts and the system will work. Otherwise, nobody will be satisfied.

Ticked Off

I sat here and watched a neighbour let his dog do their business on another neighbour’s lawn and walk away without cleaning it up. That is lazy and inconsiderate. Everyone needs to be responsible and clean up after their pets. Sometimes you wonder who is the dumb beast.

Tickled Pink

With all the beautiful pictures of the northern lights bit enough already. Your pictures are getting annoying already.

Ticked Off

It doesn’t matter what health-care program the federal government comes up with Alberta’s premier will opt out of it. I believe she just doesn’t care about us unless she comes up with the idea. The problem is she cannot solve any of our problems. I wish she were gone.

Ticked Off

I am trying to understand the difference between a chemtrail and a contrail. To the best of my knowledge a contrail is the white lines that follow a airplane. They are the result of heated air exiting the engine meeting the cold air in the upper atmosphere causing condensation (water vapour). Chemtrail? Not sure.

Tickled Pink

Just want to commend the Medicine Hat hospital for the great care I received while in the ER and my recent surgery. You are the unsung heroes of our community and you deserve our respect and appreciation for a job well done!

Ticked Off

The city narrowed Division Avenue to save money on snow clearing? How much will they save? $100? You have to question what is being gained.

Tickled Pink

Wish to thank the person who paid for my coffee at the drive-thru at Timmy’s. It was a nice surprise to pull up to the window and find my order paid for. So I added a bit more money to pay for the person behind me. The clerk told me this had happened with the four orders ahead of me. Nice to know there are caring people in this world.

Tickled Pink

Thanks to the Mustard Seed for providing an excellent Thanksgiving Dinner to the less fortunate.

Tickled Pink

I just got my carbon tax rebate. If carbon tax goes, prices won’t go down, we just won’t get a rebate.

Tickled Pink

My mother is convalescing after a surgery and is having a difficult time with her appetite, but a family member brought a bag of leftover popcorn from the MH Tigers hockey game and she couldn’t get enough and it made her smile.

Ticked Off

Seeing trailers parked on front driveways. I would not purchase the home next to you because of it.

Tickled Pink

At the courage of many e-bike riders, who fly past pedestrians at high speed, when just a bump of their handlebars would send them into a possibly life-altering collision with the pavement.
