Ticked Off Typical ole entitlement. When you are riding your bike, electric or not, you can not just swerve into the crosswalk and ride out in front of traffic. This was an old lady crossing south bound road. Get off and walk it or stop at the stop sign like an automobile and wait. Tickled Pink Dear council, please do your job and take back control of city hall. The citizens and employees expect more from you. Assumption checks and balances are being followed is not good enough. Ticked Off People seem to think governments are responsible for inflation even though it is an international problem. It is actually caused by the free market. Wouldn’t government control of oil prices solve most of the problems? Ticked Off The more you learn about Mayor Clark’s problems with city council the more you think the entire council should be investigated. What are they trying to hide? Clark is not the problem. Tickled Pink The publishers of the previously redacted version of events are to be commended. Our mayor has had some serious issues with the bullying members to contend with. Ticked Off Ticked off at the snoopy guy down the street with the white hat always walking across the street snooping into peoples yards.you seriously need to get a life and start minding your own business. There’s nothing you need to know about others. Tickled Pink That recently revealed documents show quite clearly that the issue at City Hall is that the mayor wants to control everything and cannot accept that council makes decisions contrary to her will and subsequently berates an employee inappropriately for following council’s directive. Can’t wait for the judicial review to prove this. Ticked Off If our province can be in the black by over four billion dollars, isn’t it time to reduce the provincial fuel tax that we Albertans are forced to pay? Maybe our local MLAs can defend this tax. Ticked Off Came from Dubai down to Medicine Hat with my friend from Brazil. We had a lovely family party and my friend had lots of fun. The weather was also great. The city is very beautiful and I loved to show my friend Medicine Hat. Ticked Off With the allotted parking spaces at the mall. I agree with handicapped parking and expectant mothers. But food pickup with six or more spaces and now motorcycle parking? Can’t they walk like the rest of us? Tickled Pink We live in the sunniest city in the country. Outside in all the glorious sunshine, it’s wonderful. Ticked Off When will there be a major crackdown on vehicle owners who ‘intentionally’ deface their license plates or cover them with a plastic so you can’t read them. Isn’t that illegal? Tickled Pink I feel blessed that a local department store donates food to the community every week! They are not seeking recognition but they are giants of generosity! Ticked Off Calgary had a main water break recently. It was fixed in an incredible time frame. So why does it take three months to open Altwana drive? We need to plan better. Every time I drive by that site, I see no one doing anything. Ticked Off So tired of families with several kids/teens taking up the whole aisle at stores. Pay attention to your children and preteens that are drifting across the aisles with their eyes glued to their cell phones. Sorry, if your kid is old enough to text and walk in to my path, they’re old enough to be left at home if you can’t wrangle them. Ticked Off I would be Tickled Pink to know where all the large green houses dispose of their waste when pulling out at the end of a season, can we learn anything from them ! The cost of giving a bin to households to use for scraps is going to be how much exactly, then the vehicles to support it and then more in administration. If and when the heat gets to those bins the mice and rats will have a chance to be fed. Ticked Off Loud music from 11 p.m. – 5 a.m. is not allowed in residential areas, but every night there is a party going on in NE Crescent Heights. I shouldn’t have to put in earplugs, have a noise cancelling machine running, a fan, the furnace fan, barricade my bedroom window, and pull covers around my ears just to sleep. Ticked Off Medicine Hat needs to bring in manufacturing, tech, expand the college degrees. City cannot grow without it. Ticked Off People thinking about exiting CPP for APP have not factored in cost of doing so. It is not just getting the money from CPP. It’s setting it up costs. The hours to transfer, webpage, letterhead, logo, staff. It is not a simple process and it’s hours of time, that means a multitude of dollars. 39-38
